Home Groups
Are you ready to experience real community beyond Sunday morning services? Smaller group settings, called NEC Home Groups, give you the opportunity to get to know 10-12 people in a comfortable, supportive environment. In general, home groups meet twice a month following a September to June schedule. There are many variations, but most groups share a casual meal; discuss the current sermon series or watch a relevant video; talk in an honest way about their lives as they feel comfortable doing so; pray for one another; and help each other in practical ways. NEC offers new home group participants a six-meeting “test drive.” At the end of the trial period, you may choose to stay with your group if the fit is right, place your name for reassignment to another group, or simply decide not to participate for the time being. Either way, there are no hard feelings and no pressure!
