| The Work: |
The purpose of this ministry is to be "light in the Lord" to the thousands of children living in the largest public/subsidized housing communiny in Massachusetts. Walking in Light, Inc. is also committed to partnering with community churches, organizations, and individuals in this work of addressing and caring for the unique needs of the children and families living in the Great Brook Valley community.

| How to engage: |
- Spend time with the children at GBV on Sunday afternoons from 1:30pm-3:00pm at the Kids Bible Club for kids ages pre-K through high school. Opportunities exist for helpers, teachers, small group leaders, song/worship leaders, you name it as often as you can participate
- Spend time with moms or their small children at GBV on Tuesdays from 11:30am-1:30pm during our Mom to Mom lunch group. Opportunities available to connect with other moms from GBV or to connect with their children through a Bible story and activity time designed for little ones.
- Got a truck? An opportunity awaits just for you...to pick up and deliver much needed furniture for a family in GBV.
- Got stuff? Give your extra furniture (still in good condition) to a family at GBV.
- Like to give some money? Give directly to Walking in Light, Inc. and the great work they do in Worcester and/or provide grocery store gift cards or retail store gift cards.
- Pray for GBV children and families:
- That they would feel and know God's love for them
- We would be Jesus' hands, feet and words to them
- The children and adults that live in GBV and know your love would reach out to their neighbors
- God would move in our hearts to give our time and resources as He sees best in Worcester
