Straight Ahead Ministries (incorporated in 1987 by Scott and Hanne Larson) efforts over the past 19 years include:

• Institutional Bible studies and discipleship/aftercare homes which have expanded nationally to 14 states. Straight Ahead also partners with others doing this type of work in the Ukraine, Belarus, and Nepal
• The Ready4Work Re-entry Initiative (2002) in Boston, helping ex-offenders re-integrate successfully into the community.
• Straight Ahead Academy (2005), an independent living preparatory program for young men, ages 16-20, transitioning out of the juvenile justice system and into healthy adulthood. Youth are prepared for independence through GED and college preparation, vocational/employment training and placement, character and leadership development and connections to faith and community resources.
