| The Work: |
Construction project in El Crucero, Nicaragua (about an hour outside of Managua). The work includes:
- Building a home/school for 40 homeless kids off the streets of Managua.
- Construction teams have built walls, plumbed the buildings, installed septic and fresh water systems, installed inside and outside electrical systems
- Facility to open in January, 2006
- The summer we will be building a playground area, running a daily Bible school for the public school next door, and wiring public school to provide lighting

- This project in El Crucero is an ongoing work and a team will be assembled again next June

- Feed The Children has many other projects in many parts of the world, scheduled at various times of the year.
- These programs designed to provide hands on opportunities for individuals to use their gifts and talents as part of a construction team, teaching teams, medical teams, etc. in short term projects to help meet practical needs of children and their families in developing countries
