Summer Nights

Open to all current middle & high schoolers
Some events are free, others require some $
All require chaperones. Can you help?

Summer Nights are high fun, high energy, relational events geared towards letting your teenager have the BEST summer of their lives! We will be taking a break from traditional programming to give our teenagers space to run free with their friends and to make new ones.

 

Registration is required for all events- you can sign up for them all at once or sign up as the summer goes along.  Registeration also includes a hold harmless waiver which must be signed electronically on our registration form

 

All special events take place from 5:30-8:00, unless specified otherwise and we will not be providing transport to these events. Please make sure to find a ride to and from the event.
 


 

Summer Kick-Off BBQ, July 3 @ The Barker’s House (address will be emailed to those who register) We’re kicking off the summer in style! We’ll have volleyball/ badminton. horseshoes, firepit, ladder ball, spike ball, Kan-Jam along with all your favorite BBQ favorites! What to bring: App or dessert

Night at the Park, July 10 @ King Street Memorial Park (740 King Street, Franklin) When was the last time you got to picnic with your friends and spend an evening relaxing watching the sun go down? Come hang with us at King Street Memorial Park to throw off your shoes, run around in the grass and hurl water balloons at each other!  What to bring: Picnic dinner, blankets, bug spray, hammocks (optional)

Bowling, July 17 @ Pinz (110 Main Street, Milford) Nothing says awesome like a little bowling competition. Grab a few of your friends and make a team because the team with the highest total at the end of the night wins an ice cream surprise!  What to bring: $15 (cash, includes bowling and pizza)

Diamond Hill Live Concert, July 25 (THIS IS A THURSDAY), 5:00-8:00 (4097 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI) Live music is the BEST! Couple that with food trucks and you get something wicked close to heaven! We’ll be spending the evening jamming out, eating street tacos and of course seeing who can eat cotton candy the fastest!  What to bring: Chair, money for food trucks

Movie Night, July 31, 5:00-8:00, New England Chapel Big Kid’s Zone Bring your pajamas and your favorite blanket and get ready to throw your feet up! We’re gonna give you the most comfy movie experience ever, with the exception of popcorn, because when you add teenagers to that buttery mix, you get the messiest thing to ever happen to youth ministry. What to bring: Chair, pajamas, blanket, candy.

Fairwoods Christian Beach Day, August 7, 10:00-4:00 (116 W Hartford Ave, Uxbridge, MA) A day in the sun? Check. Getting your tan on? Check. Throwing Josh off a raft? Good luck! We’re gonna be spending the day at Fairwoods, resting and relaxing in the sand so whether you just wanna come sunbathe or start a friendly game of chicken, we’ve got you covered!  What to bring: $1, lunch, water, sun screen, bug spray

Trampoline Park, August 14 @ Urban Air (189 Mechanic Street, Bellingham) Tired of always having your feet on the ground? Want to dunk on your friends or learn how to backflip? Join us for a night of high-flying fun at our local Urban Air where you can show off just how high you can really go!  What to bring: $25, signed Urban Air liability waiver 

End of Summer Pool Party and Bonfire, August 21 @ The McDermott's house (address will be emailed to those who register)We’re going out in style! Join us as we celebrate the awesome summer we just had with one final hurrah of splashing, grilling and bonfire...ing! What to bring: Swimsuit, app or dessert.


 

Recurring Events
Ultimate Frisbee: Monday Nights, 6:00-8:00 @ King Street Memorial Park, Franklin, MA   Love the sport? Want to learn how to play? Just want to get a bit more exercise? No matter your experience, you are welcome to join us for a low-key friendly game of Ultimate every Monday night in July and August!

Bible Study (High School): Sunday Mornings, 9:00-10:00 @ New England Chapel, Youth Room We believe the Bible is God’s Word spoken to us and therefore, important! However, it can be kinda scary to look at that big book and wonder where to start and what does it even mean?? Join us as we walk through the book of Matthew, taking an in depth look at the life of Jesus and how we can live more like Him everyday.
